The loneliness of a person affects the way they act and what they think about other people

According to what Crooks says to Lennie I think that the loneliness of a person may affect what they say and do to other people. While everyone is out in town for the night Lennie wanders into the barn and sees light coming from Crooks room so he walks in. Crooks starts scaring Lennie bay saying "Well s'pose, jus' s'pose he don't come back. What'll you do then?.... s'pose he gets killed or hurt so he can't come back"(71 and 72). Crooks is trying to make Lennie scared, or he might be trying to make him think about what could happen. When Lennie hears enough he stands up very mad at the thought that someone could have hurt or killed George. Crooks gets scared about his size and that he might get hurt so he says that George isn't hurt to try and calm Lennie down. These actions bay Crooks signal that he is lonely because he is being aggressive and trying to give Lennie the felling of being lonely by telling him that George could never come back. Crooks of coarse knows that George will come back he just wanted to see how Lennie would react. We still have yet to see if anything else happens to Crooks that could make him completely feel like he has nothing and all he can do is work. Lennie of coarse because of his disability does not care he just wants to tend the rabbits on the farm that he thinks they will get some day.
