Who's on top of the Leadership Rankings\Ladder and Who's on the bottom?

In Of Mice and Men, there seems to be some sort of Leadership\Popularity Ranking that puts each ranch men into their place spot on the ranch. For Example, Slim says to George and Lennie, "Hope you get on my team."(Page 34). I think Slim is near the top of the Leadership\Popularity Ranking because most of the ranch men buck barley in teams, and Slim is the captain\leader for one of them, which I think means the Boss trusts Slim to lead and keep everybody on track on his team, so they could buck as much barley as possible. Curley, the bosses son, seems to be near the top of the Leadership\Popularity Rankings because he seems to push everybody around, fighting people to become the leader of the ranch men, like the alpha wolf in a wolf pack. Curley doesn't take kindly to Lennie because he's big, strong, and looks like a superhuman compared to other men, so he tries to fight Lennie and get in his head so then he could get Lennie to fight him, so then Curley has a chance to prove he's still the alpha wolf on the ranch, but in my opinion, Curley is starting something he isn't going to be able to finish, and he's going to regret this decision for the rest of his life.

Who do you think is on the top of the Leadership\Popularity Rankings on the Ranch? And who do you thinks on the bottom?
